Grant & Aid | Ayuda
The financial commitment and sacrifice families undertake in deciding to send their children to a Catholic school is appreciated and understood. Although paying for education is first and foremost the responsibility of a family, each school, parish and the Archdiocese of Baltimore devote significant funds each year to financial aid programs that help assist families. In turn, our school community benefits by attracting students that otherwise would not be able to attend our school.
Any student interested in attending an Archdiocesan school may apply for Grant and Aid from the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Within the Archdiocese however, the Grant and Aid provided will not total more than 25% of the total cost of tuition. It is the expectation that all families contribute to/participate in the educational investment in their children. In addition, it is our intention to provide assistance to as many families as possible, therefore the Archdiocese has set limits on per child funding. Third parties not associated with the Archdiocese of Baltimore may provide assistance that exceeds 75% of the total tuition cost. These exceptions will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the school and the Archdiocese of Baltimore, if Archdiocesan funding is involved and any necessary adjustments will be made by the School or the Archdiocese.
FACTS
FACTS is the tuition management, grant, and aid platform used by schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. All families are asked to create an account with FACTS to manage their tuition payments. The grant and aid application is housed on the same platform for every school within the Archdiocese of Baltimore. We are happy to assist families through this process. Please reach out to Mrs. Kim Stark or Ms. Julia Palomino in the front office for assistance.
FACTS grant and aid
Tuition assistance is a need-based analysis of the cost of education vs. a family’s ability to pay and these awards do not need to be repaid. To objectively assess what a family is able to contribute to its student(s) education expenses, an independent third party (FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment) is used. The money awarded will be distributed under the following priorities:
- Current recipients of Financial Aid; and
- Financial need of a family

How do I apply for grants and aid?
First, financial aid is available to registered parishioners of any Catholic church in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. A financial grant may apply to each student, so a family with several children in the school or in various Catholic schools in the Archdiocese could receive a grant for each child. This financial aid is available for need-based families and the money for tuition assistance comes from your fellow parishioners. Need is determined through an online FACTS application at online.factsmgt.com. Please contact your pastor for more information on how to apply for financial aid.
Additionally, tuition assistance is awarded by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Archdiocesan tuition assistance generally comes from two funding sources: the Partners in Excellence Program and the Archdiocese of Baltimore School Fund. The Archdiocese is also contracted with FACTS so each family need only apply for grant and aid once. All applications will be reviewed by the Archdiocese to determine which families may also qualify for Archdiocesan aid. Grants awarded by the Archdiocese are renewed annually for the child's entire K-12 Catholic education as long as the family is still eligible. Completed applications must be received no later than February 28th annually. All tuition assistance awards are contingent upon a completed FACTS application with all required documentation submitted prior to the first day of school.

GB Charities
Our Mission: G.B. Charities (GBC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the Baltimore Community through the education of its youth. GBC sponsors promising students from hard working, low income families living in at-risk areas, contributing to their tuition at accredited faith based schools. By providing students with a stable, nurturing educational environment, GBC offers them the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
How we operate: GBC chooses motivated students to receive tuition support for their elementary and secondary education. Each student is monitored through GBC for grades, attendance, effort and conduct. GBC also encourages extracurricular activities and community service. All of GBC’s administrative and operating costs are absorbed by GBC members. Every dollar donated to GBC goes directly to fund a child’s scholarship.
Baltimore Childrens Fund
Children’s Scholarship Fund Baltimore (CSFB) is a privately funded organization providing partial scholarships to low-income families in Baltimore City, helping them afford the cost of tuition at the private school of their choice. The program is intended as a helping hand for families enrolling their children at a private school for the first time.
Our model of providing partial-tuition scholarships to low-income families is one of the simplest, most immediate and effective ways to educate children and empower families to break the cycle of poverty. In Baltimore City, there are hundreds of empty seats in private schools – schools which lead to high school graduation rates of more than 97%. We can fill those seats.
