Welcome Maria B. Galindo, Advancement Director
Maria B. Galindo, joined Archbishop Borders as Advancement Director in November 2019 after 20 years as a federal government employee. Ms. Galindo owned and managed her own business development enterprise for 10 years; taught high school in both public and Catholic high schools in San Antonio, Texas, and has a wide-range of business development, community and marketing experiences from years of working with the Spanish-speaking communities in San Antonio, Texas; Los Angeles, California; Baltimore, Maryland; Camden and Pennsauken, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She recently returned to Baltimore after living and working overseas, thus she knows the incredible and irreplaceable value of knowing how to speak a foreign language. Maria feels that learning at least one foreign language can be the change-agent for learning numerous foreign languages over one’s life-time.
Maria attended the Institute of Notre Dame High School (Baltimore, MD, on Aisquith Street), the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and Trinity University (San Antonio, Texas). As a first generation Bolivian-American and fifth-generation German-American, from Baltimore, Maria is honored to be part of the Archbishop Borders team and looks forward to helping Archbishop Borders reach its full potential for its students, its families and the many communities it serves.
